What this site is
Domain Security is currently a personal technical publishing project and professional portfolio. Its purpose is to publish the author’s own technical work and describe the services he is qualified to provide.
This site carries out no economic activity: it sells nothing, has no payment gateway, does not allow services to be booked online and issues no invoices. Any professional engagement, should one arise, is agreed and formalised away from this website, in writing and individually.
Cookies
This site uses no cookies, neither its own nor third party ones. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Analytics
This site uses no analytics tooling whatsoever. There is no Google Analytics, there are no tracking pixels, there is no browser fingerprinting, and no profile is built of the people who visit.
If any measurement were added in future, it would be a privacy respecting solution, without cookies and without identifiable personal data, and this notice would be updated before switching it on.
Data that is handled
If you email me. By using the contact address you provide your email address and the content of your message.
- Controller: Álvaro Irún.
- Purpose: to read your message and reply, and if the conversation progresses, to prepare a quote.
- Legal basis: your own request, that is, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- Recipients: nobody. Your messages are not shared or sold to third parties. The mailbox is hosted with an email provider acting as a data processor.
- Retention: for as long as the conversation lasts and, if an engagement follows, for the period legally required. If no engagement follows, messages are deleted once they are no longer useful.
Site hosting. The pages are served from GitHub Pages and Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, these providers log technical connection data such as IP address and browser type, for operational and security purposes. Those logs belong to the provider, not to me: I have no access to them and make no use of them.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of its processing, or object to that processing, by writing to domsec@keemail.me. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you believe your data has not been handled properly.
Intellectual property
The texts, writeups and reports published on this site are the work of their author. You are free to quote and link to them, citing the source. To reproduce them in full or use them commercially, write to me first.
Product, platform and tool names mentioned here belong to their respective owners and are cited for descriptive purposes only.
About the technical content
All technical content published here comes from authorised lab environments, specifically retired machines on the Hack The Box platform, or from professional engagements carried out under prior written authorisation from the owner of the systems.
That content is published for educational purposes. Applying these techniques against systems you do not own, without the express authorisation of their owner, is a criminal offence in Spain under article 197 bis of the Criminal Code. Anyone who does so answers for it themselves.
External links
This site links to third party pages such as GitHub or Hack The Box. I do not control their content or their privacy policies, and accept no responsibility for them.
Applicable law
This notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from the use of this site, the parties submit to the courts of the owner’s domicile, unless consumer legislation determines otherwise.
